On a slow saturday night I decided to open up lightroom, find a suitable image, and edit it in photoshop to turn it into a dark photo, suitable for this time of the year. The photo was taken in he middle of the day. I finished off the editing in snapseed on the ipad.
A blast from the past
A project I worked on back in 2009 with Pablo Scaglione and Dan Butler at Apt. It actually never got launched, but it was a great project that ended in a beautiful site for jeweler Langaard, and its about time that it ends up on my portfolio site. Of sorts. Pablo and Dan designed the site, and I programmed it.

Popkorns new website
Busy software company Popkorn has just launched their new website. Converting the site from a flash based site to a more modern and clean html site, the goal was to show the new Popkorn, the Popkorn that has grown from a small startup 5 years ago into an important player in the Norwegian software industry. The site is developed by popkorn, and I helped out with the concept, interaction design, graphical design and styling. The design is by the ever so talented Nina Knutsen.
Stuck in a moment you can’t get out of
I just discovered the art of moving photography, or whatever its called, and had to give it a shot. A scene, a tripod, a camera, after effects and photoshop is all you need to create these semi-still images
Of course, my inspiration came from Jamie Beck’s fantastic photography blog “From me – to you”
Oreo – twist, dip and lick
A campaign for Kraft, initiated to take back the “twist, dip and lick” image from competitors. The campaign is running in Norway, Sweden and Denmark simultaneously. Its made in co-operation with Screenplay, who had the concept and design.
Uluru time-lapse
My first attempt at a time-lapse. The place is Uluru and Watarrka National park, Northern Territory, Australia. The clip features three sets of photos. Sunset and sunrise from Uluru, and a nightsky photage from Watarrka National park ( Kings Canyon ).
NRK annual report
NRK has an obligation towards the Norwegian Media Authority to publish an annual report of their program mix. This year, the 4th year running, NRK and Apt made an online version too, focusing less on numbers and more on content. I was in charge of the flash development, updating the already excellent system made by my colleague, Alexander Pope.
Banner concept: Test your creativity
This banner for Norges Kreative Fagskole challenges your logical and creative senses. The point of the game is to get the ball into the hole. There are more ways than one to achieve this. If you are really creative it should be easy. The banners communicate via Localconnection in flash and always know the state of the other banners. The banners are part of a larger concept where the main goal is to communicate that creativity can be learned.
